The article revealed how marijuana has been decriminalized in many areas of the state despite the legislature's resistance to legalizing use across all of Wisconsin.

I co-won a finalist position for a series of columns I wrote about hair donation, which led to the community donating enough hair for Pantene Beautiful Lengths to create two wigs for women battling cancer.
